Programs

Most HARA programs are offered by community volunteers – thank you to these volunteers who make the programs possible.

Summer 2018 HARA Programs 

All summer programs will take place at the Hubbards Recreation Centre.

Intro to Lacrosse
Participants: Age 6-12
Dates: Wednesdays, July 4 – August 8
Time: 5:00 – 6:00 pm
Lead Instructor: Sarah Covey
Cost: $10

Outdoor Adventures
Participants: Age 3-5 (participants must be potty-trained)
Dates: Tuesdays, July 3- August 7
Time: 10:00 – 11:00 am
Lead Instructor: Sarah Covey
Cost: $10
Description: Kids will get to try a wide range of activities – tennis, lacrosse, soccer, basketball, hiking, ball hockey, scootering, crafts, music, and more.

Teen Drop-In Soccer
Participants: Age 12-15
Dates: Tuesdays, July 3 – August 7
Time: 7:00 – 8:00 pm
Lead Instructor: Jim Allan
Cost: no fee
Registration: No registration required. Just come on out!

 

Little Kids Soccer
Participants: Age 5-7
Dates: Thursdays, July 5 – August 9
Time: 6:15 – 7:00 pm
Lead Instructor: Jonathan Meakin
Cost: $10

Big Kids Soccer

Participants: Age 8-11
Dates: Thursdays, July 5 – August 9
Time: 7:00 – 8:00 pm
Lead Instructor: Jim Allan

Run Club

Participants: Age 8-10
Dates: Mondays, July 9 – August 13 (no class Aug 6)
Time: 7:00 – 7:45 pm

Basketball
Participants: Age 10-13
Dates: Monday July 2 – Friday July 6 (5 days)
Time: 6:00 – 7:30 pm

T-Ball
Participants: Age 4-6
Dates: Mondays, July 9 – August 13 (no class Aug 6)

Participants: girls, age 9-12

Cost: $25/day, or $80 for all four classes, if registered before June 15th.
